Larache is a small Coastal town about an hour south of Tangier.  It was a bit of a hike to get here from El Jadida which envolved 3 taxi, 2 train and 1 bus ride!  We stayed in a Riad in the old Medina overlooking the busy fishing port which was great to wander around - as long as you don't take any photographs of any Naval vessels - lesson learnt!!  The Riad owner Hassan was really helpful and freindly and his house was amazing although extremely cold at this time of year with no heating!  The architecture has more of a spanish influence and we appeared to be the only tourists in town so were able to wander the streets and Medina hassle free.
